Lorena Gracyn Baggett, a graduating senior at Midway High School, is the 2023 Louis & Katie Raynor Scholarship recipient! Gracyn is member of numerous clubs, including TIES Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Beta Club, Key Club, and Bible Club. She plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in the Fall of 2023 and work towards a Bachelors degree in Social Work. Her post-graduation plans are to return home to Sampson County and work locally in the hospital, community, or school setting. She hopes to provide support and resources to children affected by adverse conditions. She describes herself as having a servant’s heart, and her volunteer work on mission trips, leading bible studies for children, and caring for family members proves this to be true. We are so happy to help Gracyn reach her future goals!
